Babur
If we talk about the history of the Indian Subcontinent. Then we
will see that many rulers ruled on this subcontinent. Some of them ruled
the Subcontinent for over 30 years and some of them could not survive for just
1 year. Mamluk Dynasty, Khilji Dynasty, Tughlug Dynasty, Lodhi Dynasty and
Mughal Dynasty are those dynasties who ruled the Subcontinent for over 650
years.
Mughal Dynasty ruled the Subcontinent for over 300
years. The boundaries of the Mughal Empire were in touch with the border of Afghanistan
from the west and in touch with Myanmar from the east. From Mughal Dynasty 20+ rulers
came. Many rise and falls came.
Zaheer-Ud-Din Babur is known as the founder of the Mughal Empire.
And he was 1st ruler of the Mughal Empire. He was descendent of Timur
and Changez Khan through his father and mother respectively. He was born on 14
February 1483 in Andijan, Uzbekistan. His successor was his son, Humayun.
Zaheer-Ud-Din Babur was the husband of 9 wives and father of 20 children.
On 21 of April 1526, he fought the battle against the ruler of
India, Ibrahim Lodhi, in the field of Panipat. And that battle is known in
history as 1st battle of Panipat.

Ibrahim Lodhi was the youngest son of Sikandar and last
Lodhi Sultan of Delhi. He ruled from 1517 to 1526. He lacked the qualities of
administration and cogitation. Due to his premature policies, everyone turned
against him. He faces numerous rebellions and at last, his reign ended. He was
defeated in 1526 at the battle of Panipat by Mughal Emperor Zahiruddin Babur. This
marked the end of the Lodhi Dynasty and the rise of the Mughal Empire in India.
Zaheer-Ud-din Babur, with his small army he defeated the
Ibrahim Lodhi, and became the founder and 1st emperor of the Mughal Empire. He
ruled the Subcontinent for about 4 years. After his death, his son Humayun
became the successor of his father.
Zaheer-Ud-Din Babur died on 26 December 1530 in
Agra, India at the age of 47. He was buried in Bagh Babar, Kabul, Afghanistan.
