Mughal Empire ruled the subcontinent for 330+ years. In
the 1st battle of Panipat, Zaheer-ud-Din Muhammad Babur defeated
Ibrahim Lodhi, and became the founder and 1st ruler of Mughal
Empire. Mughal Empire ruled the subcontinent from 1526 to 1857. Many rulers
came, they ruled the subcontinent. During the reign of Mughals, many rises and
falls came. Bahadur Shah Zafar is known as the last ruler of the Mughal Empire.

Today, I will tell you about the biography of Bahadur Shah
Zafar.
Bahadur Shah II, he was the last Mughal
Emperor, ( Death-1963). He was the second son of and successor to his father, Akbar II, upon his
death on 28 September 1837. He was a Emperor, as the Mughal Empire
existed in name only, and his authority was limited only to the walled city of
old Delhi.
Bahadur Shah Zafar was born on 24 October 1775 in Old
Delhi, India. At the age of 62, he became the successor to his father. He lacked the qualities of administration and
cogitation. Due to his premature policies, everyone turned against him. He
faces numerous rebellions and at last, his reign ended. At the last stage of his life, he was in jail. His
full name was Abu Zafar Siraj-ud-din Muhammad Zafar. And he was the husband of 4
wives.
After the war of independence (1857), Bahadur Shah Zafar
was arrested with his family and was carried out to Yangon (Burma). There
British people imprisoned him in the garage of an English man. After the 4
years, in 1862 his wife came at the gate of the English officer and said to him
that give me permission to meet with my husband. Then he gave permission. When
he opened the door of the garage, he saw that Bahadur Shah Zafar has gone. The
journey of the Mughal Empire has finished. He died on November 7, 1862. After
the death, There was no place in the whole Yangon to burry him. After all, he was
buried in the government’s place.

And today, his ancestors are in find of meat of 2 times
for the day. They are surviving on pensions. History always teaches us some lessons.
The rulers who enjoy the unlimited powers of state or Country. Then they did
not lose their state but they also lose the bright future of their
descendants.
